I've been thinking a lot lately about the God-opportunities to be found in mentoring younger leaders. As I met with a young man who aspires to be a leader over breakfast yesterday, we discussed how leadership is encouraged in another person.After breakfast, I came across the following ideas which do a great job of providing a short-hand summary of the process of mentoring leaders.
- I do, you watch, we talk.
- I do, you help, we talk.
- You do, I help, we talk.
- You do, I watch, we talk.
- We both begin to do with someone else.
